This was my first real encounter with children's birthday party planning, and it was fun with just the right amount of stressfulness mixed in. Olivia and friends started the party by making their own bagel pizzas. While the pizzas baked, we played animal charades and read the book George and the Pizza (which each child received their own copy of as a party favor). After a light lunch of pizza, bananas (of course), and banana punch, we opened gifts, busted open (literally) the Hello Kitty pinata (no relation to Curious George, Zurcher's just didn't sell Curious George pinatas), and ate a Curious George cake.

Happy 3rd Birthday Olivia! You're party sounds like it was a hit...I'm currently in the process of planning Ella's and I love it. I think planning it is even better than the actual party (because everything will turn out perfectly in your mind...however, things don't typically turn out how you envisioned!). I love your list too...the "Stop Talking..." sassiness is alive and well in our home too!
